MEET kASIA

Kasia Zajkowska is a bioscientist and entrepreneur, specialising in the commercialisation of new technologies and business development in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. 


Kasia is a scientist with a unique mindset, combining her creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and global lifestyle. Kasia brings a fresh perspective to her work as a bioscientist, entrepreneur, and speaker in the fields of technology, health and wellness and AI.

EDUCATION

  • MSc in Molecular Biotechnology, specialising in Genetics: My academic journey began with a strong foundation in molecular biotechnology, where I focused on understanding the intricacies of genetics and their applications in healthcare and medicine.

  • MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise: Furthering my education, I pursued a Master's degree in Bioscience Enterprise, which allowed me to understand the commercial aspects of biopharma and develop the skills needed to bring scientific breakthroughs to market.

  • PhD Candidate in AI in Healthcare: As a current PhD candidate, I am actively researching the integration of AI in healthcare. My work aims to explore/ revolutionise the way we diagnose and treat diseases, improving patient outcomes and overall quality of life.


Biotechnology Career

I began my career in drug development research (eight years) working on various projects (oral-anti diabetic, GLP-1, oral vaccine technology, delivery systems for enhancing the uptake of peptides, proteins and macromolecules, new therapeutic agent development), where I gained invaluable experience in the biotech sector. My passion for science and technology led me to the commercial side of biopharma, specifically focusing on technology commercialization (technology transfer, licencing, partnering, regulatory)  

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with an array of organisations, from startups to established corporations. My background in both science and business has provided me with a unique perspective, enabling me to bridge the gap between research and commercial applications.

Entrepreneurial Journey

Embarking on my entrepreneurial journey, I sought to create a brand that embodies innovation, wellness and personal empowerment. This passion led to the birth of BelleCell (bellecell.com) , a company dedicated to supporting cellular health and wellness by leveraging cutting-edge science, technology, and lifestyle philosophies. As the founder, I have had the privilege of combining my experience in the biomedical sector, with my creativity and business insights to build a brand that resonates with companies and individuals seeking a transformative approach to health, wellness and lifestyle.  

THOUGHT LEADER

Drawing from my experience across the health and wellness technologies and hospitality sectors, I founded longevitygate.com, a consultancy dedicated to providing iconic destinations and real estate the framework for launching their medical wellness and longevity concepts. I also serve on the board of several health-related companies where I offer strategic guidance to help steer the direction towards more innovative and inclusive approaches.

I frequently attend the various world conferences within the innovation, science, health and business sectors to meet like minded individuals and occasionally speak, where i can share my knowledge and experience, to inspire new thought and action within our industry

I remain committed to democratising innovation and education to break new ground in the realm of preventative approaches and personalised health and wellness, setting the stage for a brighter, healthier future for all.
